Server statistics available now - future of mohaas.net

As some of you might have noticed, there has been a silent update
at our server page. Now you can click the servers to get some statistics:
http://www.mohaas.net/server/

Inactivity here - activity in the tool!

It is true that our forum has been quite inactive last weeks due to all
of our lives. This does not mean that we give up this project. On the
contrary, we will keep mohaas.net alive as long as the tool is being
used. Our statistics tell us that every day around 50 to 150 people
are using the tool to connect to your servers. This is not a bad number
at all, but of course with some new features the popularity could be
even higher.

Next features to come

We have mentioned some ideas for the future of the tool already, but
at this point it is difficult to say "is it worth to put so much effort into
a dead game?". That is why we are not working nonstop on our tool,
but we try to improve it step by step as long as it is used. So what are
the next things to come?

You cannot see that, but mohaas.net is already a full functioning
statistics page. All online times of all our community servers are
tracked. While the statistics are all already in our databases, it is
quite a lot of work to display them in a friendly way. The first step
was the current player list on the main page of mohaas.net/server.
I plan to extend the server statistics page with more details: A page
designed only for each server and player, so people can check out
their own stats. These features are going to be included into the
app as well, but that is already a next step.

We want to include more stuff and team up with other communities
to make the tool even nicer. I hope that at some point the tool can check
for cheats, ban people and download maps. But this is 2015 talking.

Yeah but on the tool you can't see the players that are online, and that's a very neat feature.
