Uuhh, the whole world knows i am a noob.
So here is my question:
How do install the script?

I think you need to write "exec forcevars.scr" at some place
in your map script. Appel will know the answer I guess.

Yup on the bottom of your DMprecache you can put: exec global/forcecvars.scr
(You have to put the forcecvar.scr in the global folder then.)

But this is just a test version and seems to work for some cheats!
The only problem is u need to force a vid_restart..

Also some people will say that their screen/lighting is different and they cannot play with it well, then they had a cheat on..

If i put vid_restart just below the line exec global/forcecvars.scr it should work not?

In which pk3 should i look for the dmprecache? I see many dmprecaches?

DMprecache is only executed in 1 pk3.
You better merge all your pk3 files into 1 pk3.

The one that would be executed is in the pk3 with the most "zzzzz" as its filename.

And no the forcing for vid_Restart should be in the mod like:
$player[local.i] stufftext "vid_restart";

But on command by an admin! If you put this in the script it wont work as its in a loop forcing it every 2 seconds.

You can still test it by typing vid_restart in your console(client side).

Can you not make a pk3 file of it? so we just can put it in main/mainta folder, will be easier i think. Dont know if that is possible?
